Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a stern warning of “firm retaliation” against any external aggression, following recent threats from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Addressing a congregation during Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran, Khamenei emphasized Iran’s preparedness to defend itself, stating that while external aggression is unlikely, the nation is ready for any eventuality.

This warning comes in response to President Trump’s recent ultimatum, giving Iran a two-month window to negotiate a new nuclear agreement, accompanied by threats of potential military action.

Khamenei’s remarks underscore Iran’s stance against yielding to external pressure, highlighting the nation’s readiness to respond decisively to any threats to its sovereignty.

This exchange of threats has heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, raising concerns about potential military confrontations in the region. Khamenei’s remarks underscore Iran’s stance of resisting external pressure and defending its sovereignty against perceived threats.
